Finally, the schedule of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) elections has been announced. The election of the highest body of cricket in the country will be held on October 6. At the same time, the draft voter list is being released on Wednesday (September 22) and the hearing will be held in the afternoon after receiving the objections from Thursday morning. The final voter list will be released on the same day.

According to the source, the election will be held for 23 director posts in three categories.
Nomination papers will be distributed on September 24 and 25. Nomination papers will be submitted on September 28. Nomination papers will be selected and the list will be published on September 27. Appeal acceptance and hearing on 29 September. Nomination papers can be withdrawn on September 30 from 10 am to 12 noon. The final list of candidates will be released at 2 pm on that day. Postal and e-ballot will be sent on the same day.
Voting will take place on October 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Preliminary results will be released on the same day and final results will be released on October 8 at 3 pm.
BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon told reporters that he would be elected as the director in the upcoming elections. If the elected representatives want to see him as the head of the board then he will think about it later.
Regarding the panel in the election, Nazmul Hasan said, “I have no panel in this election. I want to be a director. I will have my first application, do not want to be president. I don’t know what happens next. ”
Nazmul Hasan Papon’s second term as BCB president will end this month. According to the constitution of the BCB, elections must be held within 45 working days of the expiration of the term. Therefore, the board wants to hand over the responsibility to the new committee before the T20 World Cup.
