After more than four months, the number of corona identities in the country has dropped to less than a thousand. At the same time, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 disease has been decreasing for the last few days.

A regular press release on coronavirus sent by the Department of Health on Saturday (September 25th) said that 25 people had died in the country in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus infection. The total number of deaths stood at 26,393.

At this time, 618 new corona have been identified. On May 17, 698 people were identified as Covid-19. The total number of identified patients stands at 15 lakh 50 thousand 371 people.

Earlier, 31 people died on Friday, 24 on Thursday, 36 on Wednesday, 28 on Tuesday, 28 on Monday, 43 on Sunday and 35 on Saturday.

The Department of Health said in a statement that 975 people had recovered from Corona in 24 hours. So far, a total of 15 lakh 10 thousand 17 people have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, samples of 16 thousand 515 people were collected. 16 thousand 618 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the patient identification rate is 4.59 percent. So far, the detection rate of 95 lakh 96 thousand 929 samples has been 16.15 percent.

Of the 25 people who died in 24 hours, 14 were men and 11 were women. During this period 11 people died in Dhaka division. Six died in Chittagong, four in Khulna, two in Sylhet and two in Rangpur.

On March 6 last year, coronavirus was detected in the bodies of the first 3 people in the country. Ten days later, on March 17 of that year, the first person in the country died of the virus.
