On the occasion of the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, mass vaccination of coronavirus is being started in 129 centers of Dhaka North and South City Corporation on Tuesday (September 28).
Of these, vaccination will be given in 54 centers in 54 wards of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) area. Vaccination will be given in 75 centers of 65 wards of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
Vaccination activities will be held at North City Corporation from 2.30 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. In each ward, 500 people will be vaccinated every day and 1000 people will be vaccinated in two days. Only those who have already registered for vaccination at any hospital in the DNCC area, but have not yet received the SMS, will be able to get vaccinated under this program. However, this rule does not apply to people over the age of sixty. Even if you are not registered, you can get a vaccine if you take a photocopy of your national identity card. The first and second doses of the vaccine should be taken from the same center. Earlier, the DNCC had administered two doses of vaccine to 1,13,400 people at 54 vaccination centers.
On the other hand, 350 people will be vaccinated at each DSCC center.
