The Commerce Ministry has submitted a list of names of three people, including two secretaries, to the steering committee to review allegations of fraud and management rules raised against e-commerce company Evaly.

The names on the list are Rezaul Ahsan, secretary of the local government ministry, Yakub Ali Patwari, secretary of the reform board and Makshudur Rahman Patwari, former secretary. One of them will be kept in the committee.

Commerce Ministry lawyer Tapas Kanti Bal confirmed the matter to media.

A single High Court bench of Justice Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar will rule on the matter on Wednesday (October 13th).

Earlier on Tuesday (October 12), the High Court had directed the formation of a four-member board to review the allegations of fraud and management rules raised against Evali. The High Court directed to form a board comprising former judges, secretaries and chartered accountants one by one.

Last Monday (October 11), all the documents of the e-commerce company Evali were submitted to the High Court. The documents were submitted to the High Court bench of Justice Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar by the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies.
