Coronavirus has killed 7 people in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of deaths in Corona in the country stood at 27,737.

At the same time, 48 people were newly identified as Corona. So far, the total number of identified patients stands at 15 lakh 64 thousand 465 people.

The information was given in a regular press release on Thursday (October 14) sent by the Department of Health.

A statement from the Department of Health said 895 people had recovered from the corona in one day. So far, a total of 15 lakh 26 thousand 37 people have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, samples of 21,415 people were collected. 21 thousand 563 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the patient identification rate is 2.16 percent.

So far, the identification rate of 1 crore 42 thousand 285 sample tests is 15.56 percent. The recovery rate per 100 people is 98.56 percent and the death rate is 1.6 percent.

Of those killed in 24 hours, 3 were men and 4 were women. At that time 3 people died in Dhaka, 2 in Chittagong, 1 in Rajshahi and 1 in Khulna. No one died in the rest of the divisions.

On March 8 last year, the first 3 people in the country were diagnosed with coronavirus. Ten days later, on March 17 of that year, the first person in the country died of the virus.
