The Chittagong Metropolitan BCL took out a protest procession from the party office at Darul Fazal Market in Chittagong to protest the planned sabotage of Jamaat-e-Islami.

The procession was led by Zakaria Dastagir, general secretary of Nagar Chhatra League, at 11 am today.

Co-presidents Taleb Ali, Yasin Arafat Kochi, Ekramul Haque Russell, Naeem Rony, joint general secretary Sujan Barman, organizing secretary Irfanul Alam Ziku, Khorshed Alam Manik, board members Abu Tareq Rony, Hasanul Alam Sabuj, Abul Mansur Titu and Mia spoke on the occasion. Mohammad Zulfiqar, Sheikh Sarfuddin Sourav.

Also present at the time were executive members Imam Uddin Nayan, Sajibul Islam Sajib, Arafat Rubel, Mohammad Salahuddin, Mohaiminul Islam Rahim, Moshraful Haque Chowdhury Pavel, Wahidul Alam Wahid.

In a recent conspiracy to destroy communalism, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) terrorists carried out communal incitement by keeping the Holy Quran in a traditional mandapa at night and vandalized and looted houses and shops of innocent people in different parts of the country. The speakers demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators and exemplary punishment.

They further said that this country belongs to all people irrespective of Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Christianity and religion. The dream of building an extremist militant state will soon turn into a nightmare. The leaders and workers of Chhatra League pledged to eradicate all evil forces in the united struggle of religious people.
