BNP wants to tarnish the image of the country: Obaidul Quader

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said those who use religion for political gain want to create division in a planned way.

Obaidul Quader said those who could not accept the independence of the country, development and prosperity, they want to divide the nation and want to tarnish the image of the country, and the BNP and its allies want to create this dividing line.

He made the remarks at a briefing at his residence on Wednesday (October 20th) morning.

Obaidul Quader commented that the character of BNP is – Sheikh Farid in the face, bricks in the armpit, their words are full of flowers but their hearts are full of ugliness.

Claiming that the BNP leaders have turned lies into industry, the general secretary of the Awami League said that the government is involved in the communal attack! In fact, when they saw the cat coming out of the bag in the video footage, they started behaving like a one-eyed monster.

He said the BNP itself is politically communal.

Referring to the BNP as the enemy of the minorities, Obaidul Quader further said that they thought that attacking the puja mandapa would increase the distrust of the Hindu community in the government and destroy Bangladesh’s existing friendship with India.

The mosques will become temples, the mosques will be filled with uludhbani – noting that the BNP has carried out these propaganda in the past as well, the general secretary of the Awami League said, the patent of these misdeeds and outright lies is the only BNP.

Obaidul Quader said that after coming to power in 2001, the BNP’s ruthlessness towards the minorities had reduced to 71. He said that they have not been able to get out of communal politics yet.
