Rescue work is going on for the fourth day to rescue the ferry Amanat Shah that sank at Paturia Ghat. The rescue ship Rustam arrived at the wharf this morning to take part in the rescue operation. However, Rustam has not started the rescue operation yet. After rescuing the truck stuck inside the ferry, Rustam will start work to rescue the ferry, the concerned said.

Work is underway to rescue two trucks loaded with goods from the sunken vehicle. The process of lifting the ferry will start after lifting the two trucks. The rescue ship Rustam will take part in it.

The rescue ship Hamza started work to rescue the cargo vehicle from the sunken ferry at 8 am today. A motorcycle and four trucks were recovered in the first day of the rescue operation last Wednesday. Later on Thursday, five vehicles were recovered in the second day of the rescue operation. Three more vehicles were recovered in the third day of the rescue operation on Friday. A total of 12 vehicles were recovered.
