Air strikes on Taliban as soon as you look at India: Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has warned the Taliban to launch air strikes if they turn a blind eye to India. He made the warning in a speech at a function in Lucknow on Sunday.

The BJP leader said India has become stronger under the present leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. No country can now dare to look up to India. The Taliban have destabilized Afghanistan as well as Pakistan. But if the Taliban advance on India, Delhi is ready to launch air strikes on them.

Yogi Adityanath made the remarks at a time when an Indian delegation met with Taliban leader and Afghan Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Salam Hanafi in Moscow a week ago. The Indian delegation was led by JP Singh, Joint Secretary for Pakistan-Afghanistan-Iran. Issues such as humanitarian assistance and counter-terrorism were given priority in the meeting.
