Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan is going to hold a meeting at 8pm on Monday with owners and workers of truck and goods-laden transports, who are on strike.
The Ministry’s public relation officer Md Sharif Ahmed confirmed the matter.
He said Minister Asaduzzaman Khan is now in Cox’s Bazar district. He will come back around 7pm. Later, he will hold the meeting with them.
Truck and goods-laden owners have been on a nationwide strike from November 4 protesting the sudden price hike of diesel. Later, Bangladesh Bus-Truck Owners Association and transport owners also called the strike for the same reason.
