Students gather at Nagar Bhaban demanding justice for Naim

Students of Notre Dame College have staged a protest rally in front of Nagar Bhaban in the capital city demanding justice for the death of their classmate Naim Hasan.

The agitating students entered into Nagar Bhaban with a procession at around 3.00 pm on Thursday.

After that the agitating students started chanting slogans demanding trial of the killer driver. They also demanded to meet with Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh.

The students appealed to everyone for a peaceful protest so that there would be no disturbance in the protest site.

Later, Mayor Taposh joined to the rally and consoled the students.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Naim Hasan, 17, a 2nd-year student of Notre Dame College was killed when a garbage truck of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) hit him at Golchattar in the city’s Gulistan area.
